After the corona plague disrupted their plans and led to the cancellation of the planned show in the country, it seems possible to announce the end of the plague.

Or at least about the arrival of the Gypsy Kings band for a tour of Israel, where they will host Shlomi Shabbat.

The band that became a symbol of Spanish music, with the original soloist Andre Rice, accompanied by his band, will make four appearances in Tel Aviv, Beer Sheva and Haifa, and after successfully hosting Miri Mesika, this time the band members decided to return to Israel and host Shlomi Shabbat.

The performances will take place during the month of April: on April 16 at the Omar Amphitheater, on April 17 and 18 at the Tel Aviv Hall of Culture and on April 20 at the Haifa Congress Center.

Ticket prices start at NIS 199.

As part of the collaboration with the Israeli singer, the members of the Gypsy Kings decided to record an international Spanish version of Shlomi's hit "And I Sing", a song that was played quite a bit on radio stations.

The Gypsy Kings became an icon in the field of Spanish music when they renewed in 1980 the South American song "Bambulao", which became a worldwide hit.

That same year she recorded the album "Gipsy Kings" which sold millions of copies worldwide.

Among the band's well-known hits: "Joby Juba", "Valara", a cover version of a song by Domenico Modonio, and the famous cover of the hit "Hotel California" originally by the Eagles.

One of their big hits "Un Amor", is performed by them in the opening scene of John Tortoro's film The Jesus Rolls in which he again plays the iconic character of Jesus, the well-known bowling player from the cult film "Big Lebowski".
