Setting a date for the Unified Architecture Exam

The Measurement and Evaluation Center at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has set the date for the unified architecture exam, the March 2022 session, for students of the fifth year in the faculties of architecture in the public and private Syrian universities who are under graduation and who wish to apply for higher studies on the 24th and 31st of this March in the centers of the universities of Damascus, Aleppo and Tishreen The Ba'ath and Hama.

The center indicated in an announcement that SANA received a copy of today that the exam on Thursday 24/3-2022 will be a written part of it, allocating 100 marks to it according to the National Academic Reference Standards (NARS), which determines the minimum level of knowledge and practical skills, and it is one of the multiple-choice questions model within the axes of History and theories of architecture, planning, implementation and architectural design, while the second part of the exam is practical, with 25 degrees in the field of planning and for two hours.

The center indicated that the exam on Thursday, March 31, 2022, will be practical, with 75 degrees assigned to it in the field of architectural design and for a period of four hours.

All students of architecture faculties in public and private universities who were unable to apply for the previous exam session, students who failed it, students who have only 12 credit hours or 4 courses left for the 2021-2022 academic year who want to graduate in the semester, are subject to the exam, according to the center’s statement. The first for the year 2022, as well as non-Syrian university students, in order to equalize their certificates and practice the profession.

The Center indicated that students who have not completed the graduation project are not entitled to apply for this course.

The success of the student from the Syrian public and private universities and obtaining a mark of 60 percent is a condition for applying for the differentiation of higher studies. The student’s success and obtaining 50 degrees is a condition for graduation, and the student benefits from the examination aid by only two marks.

The center pointed out that the electronic registration of the exam starts from today, Tuesday 1-3-2022 until Tuesday 8-3-2022 on the official website of the Measurement and Evaluation Center on the Internet, and the fees for it are paid at the Commercial Bank of Syria on the private account.
