Does the kitchen in the picture look ugly to you? Wait until you see what he looks like after the makeover they passed him

The kitchen is the heart of the house.

Even if you are regular orderers or avid restaurant blazers, there is no way you are not going through the kitchen at least once a day.

The architectural design of the last decades, took out the kitchen that was enclosed in the room and united it with the living space.

If we were once exposed to the kitchen only when we chose to enter it, today we see it even when we are sitting in the living room.

Sometimes the kitchen is part of a general renovation, and sometimes just renovating it is enough to produce a renewed and updated look.

We selected five kitchens that have undergone a makeover and have been specially designed:

From an old-fashioned village to an ultra-modern look

The change that took place:

an old country-style villa in Ramot Hashavim underwent a makeover and became a luxurious and modern villa.

The old house was divided into many small spaces, the walls were thick and heavy, the windows were narrow and low, and the courtyard was detached from the space of the house.

The floor of the house is covered with resin-type cladding, in a shade of gray without partitions, which gives the appearance of a uniform surface and contributes to the feeling of space.

The kitchen has become rustic, old-fashioned and heavy with a minimalist kitchen that bears no resemblance to the previous one.

In this case, the original lines were not preserved, but were shaved off the previous one and redesigned - this is a 180-degree change.

The neglected became a well-groomed Scandinavian

The change that took place:

A couple from the high-tech and education fields with two small children found an apartment for purchase in the building where they lived in a rented building, in a central location in Givatayim.

One of the highlights of the apartment is the kitchen which has been completely renovated and has become very old-fashioned, dilapidated and neglected, a kitchen with a laden Scandinavian flavor, but in a way that maintains warmth and accessibility, mainly thanks to open niches designed for storing dishes.

The heavy-looking kitchen has become a bright and spacious space

The change that took place:

a rustic kitchen, very old-fashioned and with a heavy look, has become a spacious, bright and inviting space to operate in.

An old-fashioned, crowded and cluttered-looking kitchen has been replaced by an open, ventilated and fresh kitchen.

The use of solid wood has been replaced by monochromatic colors.

Despite the radical change between the two kitchens, the designer chose not to completely cancel out what was here before, leaving the rustic wooden windows.

This decision created an eclectic cuisine, and contributed to its unique character.

The new kitchen has been designed with a special wide island that is also the family dining area.

In addition, it offers plenty of storage solutions, both in a dedicated wall designed entirely as a wall of cabinets and drawers that allow high accessibility, and in the array of drawers at the bottom of the kitchen.

The old kitchen of the childhood home has been given new life

The change made:

The house is the childhood home of Livnat Cohen Marin, the designer, to which she moved with her family when she was 10. Her parents, who live in it to this day, asked to replace the kitchen, which was very dysfunctional and left no room to open a table.

The kitchen was crowded, closed and unused, the appliances were far from each other, and the space was narrow and dark.

After redesign, the space became a kitchen in parallel, open and wide lines.

The light hue that characterizes the kitchen cabinets, the Corian countertop and the integral sinks, as well as the selected appliances, together created a façade in a subdued color, which gives a sense of space and cleanliness.

The home dining table is located in the center of the kitchen and allows you to comfortably entertain around it.

The new can also be renewed

The change made: the

kitchen that was renovated was not particularly old but was designed less properly, in a way that created overcrowding and made it difficult for daily conduct.

The new kitchen was designed from scratch and created a generous, fun, cozy and comfortable work space to run inside.

It is designed as two parallel lines that greatly increase the level of effectiveness, with in the background a wall of niches and additional storage solutions.

The marble look of Nero Markvina marble blended well with the dark shade chosen for the kitchen, adding a subtle measure of elegance to it.

Narrow and crowded kitchen,

The kitchen has been completely renovated - the original shape has been preserved

The change that took place:

In the renovation of the house that was repurchased by a young couple with children, emphasis was placed on opening the kitchen space and creating a ventilated area while building plenty of storage space.

The upper cabinets in the old kitchen were removed, and in their place one parchment was designed for a coffee corner, adorned with granny glass and open shelves.

Wide drawers were also designed for pots and plates, alongside a bluish FREE STANDING oven that has itself become a kind of design item.

Despite the renovation, it is very nice to see how the planners have kept the original shape of the kitchen, thus making a refined connection between new and old.
