The wheel is turning:
Simon Leviev, nicknamed the "Tinder crook", reportedly got a taste of the dark side of the impersonation world TMZ gossip site and became a sting victim himself.
According to the site's reports, Leviev received a request last week from a woman with a profile that appears to have been verified on Instagram, who told him that she could help him get blue hooks through her partner who works at Facebook (who also remembers the owner of Instagram).
The site goes on to report that the crooks who stabbed Leviev invested in a ploy, when Leviev contacted the same alleged Facebook employee partner, when he spoke to him in a supposedly feisty way from the bustling Facebook offices with employees walking around in the background.
The same employee informed Leviev that the only way he could help him achieve the long-awaited blue vibe on Instagram and delete all the fictitious accounts created in his name was if he transferred $ 6,664 in two separate transfers through a PayPal account - one for himself and one for his partner.
Only after Leviev made the two transfers did his manager begin to suspect that it was a scam and contacted a real employee at the company who confirmed his suspicion and noted that Facebook does not charge money for account verification.
But unfortunately for Leviev, until he found himself trapped and himself became a victim of fraud, the crooks erased every trace of their existence from the network and disappeared with the money.
In the end, by the way, Leviev's Instagram account was approved yesterday and he won the blue escort he so longed for.
