Drugstore throws products out of the range – customers rage on Facebook

The range of drugstore Dm will be changed in the future.

The customers don't like it at all.

Dortmund – It is not unusual for supermarkets, discounters and drugstores to change their product range from time to time.

Stupid only if the products were obviously very popular with customers.

Because of a change at Dm, they vent their anger on social media, reports RUHR24.

Specifically, it is about diapers from the “Rascal + Friends” brand.

Dm still offers the items online, but the baby products are no longer available in most branches.

At the same time, the drugstore, like the supermarkets Lidl, Aldi or Edeka, was apparently struggling with delivery problems.

This apparently upsets the customer, as can be seen in several of Dm's Facebook posts.

Actually, the drugstore only wants to draw attention to new products that have nothing to do with diapers.

Nevertheless, several customers are venting their anger under different postings.

“It's sad, first withdrawn from the store range and now not even available online.

What's going on there?” asks a customer under a post by Dm.

She shares a screenshot from the online shop of the drugstore.

On it you can see: The diapers from "Rascal + Friends", which were apparently "no longer available" at that time.

But what is the reason for the change in assortment?

A customer suspects poor sales figures and defends the step of the drugstore: "It's logical and unemotional in the decision." DM, on the other hand, does not go into the discussion in the comments and comforts: "Hello dear Maria, we can understand your displeasure.

We forward all feedback to the responsible colleagues.”

The reason for the high demand in the comments: the customers were apparently very satisfied with the diapers.

A Facebook user describes: "These are the best diapers I've found in years." Another even speaks of desperation because the Pampers alternative is not always available.

But in the meantime most customers can breathe a sigh of relief: Currently (as of March 3rd) the diapers are again available in most sizes in the Dm online shop.

So far, there has been no clear statement from the company.

Perhaps, like Ikea, the drugstore was struggling with delivery bottlenecks.

Under a comment, Dm clarifies: “Size 2 will be available online in about 8 weeks and the other sizes will come in little by little.
