Today, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research released the results of the exams for the first semester courses of the preparatory year for medical colleges for the academic year 2021-2022, and set the period for accepting applications to object to the results between the 8th and 22nd of this March.
The ministry allowed students, according to its announcement, which SANA received a copy of, to submit objection requests electronically to the Preparatory Year Student Affairs Department at their universities, according to the approved bases and the required fees.
The preparatory year for the faculties of “medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy” was adopted as a second criterion for university admission in addition to the average of the general secondary certificate in the 2015-2016 academic year, so that it became a central, unified and automated examination, and the number of students in public universities is estimated at about 10,000 students.
