Pink and white time: Where will you see almonds blooming now?
This year the common almond blossom is late to come, but these days it is in full swing in the north and also in the near south.

They started to bloom quite late this year, but the almonds (and in the correct terminology - common almond) are blooming these days in white and pink.
Quite a few events will take place in the coming weeks around the tree that is most identified with Tu B'Shvat, but blooms this year near Purim.

Galilee Almond Festival in pink and white
This coming weekend will be dedicated to the "Galilee Almond Festival in Pink and White", throughout the Lower
Galilee

Almond blossom season, Yatir
The almond blossoms in the Yatir region are returning more impressively than ever, in the largest almond grove in Israel.
No less than 1,700 dunams were painted white, and will present a beautiful and eye-catching spectacle.
During the next two Fridays, visitors will be able to reach the almond groves that are in full bloom, and go on guided tours around the grove provided by a farmer, in a safari vehicle (NIS 10 per person) or on foot (free), where you hear about almond blossoms and agriculture in the area. In painting or photography workshops inside the orchard, which will perpetuate the spectacular bloom.
After visiting the orchard, you can continue to lots of other activities at the tourist sites in the area, and enjoy good music, special workshops, quality wine and of course lots of heritage and history.
A circus show for the whole family at Cafe Ronel, the "Israeli Klezmer" show at La Pora Blanche Winery, tutorials with a street performer, mosaic works, a Shabbat reception in the ancient synagogue and inflatables for children in ancient Susya, an art workshop on herbs, a guided tour, wine tasting and picnic baskets at Yatir Winery , Carpentry and face makeup workshops at simart studio, jeep tours in the field and more.
