In November 2021, Netflix launched a new sci-fi series.

The fans had been waiting for her eagerly.

But then Netflix made an unexpected decision.

The streaming service Netflix* had high hopes for the new sci-fi series "Cowboy Bebop".

After all, she could shine with a star cast.

And the fans finally wanted to see the series.

In November 2021 the time had finally come.

After only three weeks, however, something happened that nobody expected.

Netflix made the decision to cancel Cowboy Bebop.

A slap in the face for the fans.

But also for the actors.

Netflix star John Cho, who plays Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop, couldn't believe it himself.

The news of the series' quick cancellation shocked and disappointed John Cho, he says.

"But I was very pleased with the response," he adds.

He would have liked to get in touch with everyone immediately to hug them.

For "Cowboy Bebop" the actor had to take on a lot.

And his family supported him too.

"We shot the series in New Zealand, so my family moved there.

It was just a big event in my life and suddenly it was over,

" he tells

“It was a huge mountain I had to climb to recover from this injury.

The result felt good to me,” said Cho.
