At an exhibition at Dizengoff Center called "Star Costumes", 11 local celebs dressed up as stars of successful series with ease • This is how you do it yourself

Every year on Purim we have the opportunity to fulfill fashionable dreams for ourselves.

A lot of people are waiting for the moment when they will be able to dress in a way that does not always suit their character or the roles they play in life.

Some people dream of dyeing their hair blonde, but they do not have the courage to make the change, and on Purim there is an opportunity to wear a wig and see the reactions.

Many men also like to play around a bit with gender boundaries.

Make up, dress up and put on high heels.

The curators of the exhibition, Yoav Meir and Gili Sivan Cohen, say that "for us, costume is also a fashion statement. "We have a story. If we wear a tailored suit or sweatshirt, they will treat us differently. Purim is a great time to check the reactions around us, and also to check our conduct in public space when we wear clothing that is not typical of us."

A fashion show at the Dizengoff Center mall in Tel Aviv launched today (Thursday) under the name "Star Costumes" features 11 local celebs dressed up as stars of successful series such as "Emily in Paris", "The Crown" and more.

The purpose of the exhibition is to dress up as clothes we have in the closet, not bought costumes.

The exhibition was filmed in collaboration with the "Wings of Krembo" association, and two members of the association were also photographed for the exhibition, in order to combine them with the stars.

The photographers are: the broadcaster and presenter Avia Malka, the actress Neta Roth, the model Tomer Elias, the actor Eli Chapman, the singer and creator Chen Aharoni, the comedian and network star Eden Daniel Gabay, the model and presenter Taylor Malkov, the singer Adi Beatty, the singer Inbal Bibi, the singer Abergil and the stars Omri and Noam from "Wings of Krembo".

She wore a tailored suit inlaid in black and white shades by designer Dana Sidi.

According to the curators of the exhibition, "what makes the costume accurate is the red beret hat that characterizes her figure, and of course the brunette wig that hides Malkov's blonde hair. Forget a red beret. "

Chen Aharoni dressed up as Arik from "Sex Education".

He wore a colorful button-down shirt with different geometric prints combined with a very colorful jacket (a very extreme combination that could only fit a character like Eric).

In addition, he wore frayed jeans that looked vintage, with the entire outfit coming from a second-hand "The Zion" store.

"To embrace the costume, you should look in thrift stores or at friends for very colorful clothes with prints, and preferably have a vintage scent," the curators say.

Adi Beatty dressed up as Daphne from "Bridgerton", she wore an evening dress by designer Yaron Minkowski.

"Here, what is most important here is the hair design. In this case, by the designer Kobi Calderon," say the curators of the exhibition.

"You can also achieve the look with a period wig combined with an evening dress in pastel shades, and of course, not forgetting a pearl necklace."
