(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 04 - In the fourth quarter of 2021, the Italian GDP, adjusted for the effects of the calendar and seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.6% compared to the previous quarter and by 6.2% compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.
This was announced by Istat confirming the conjunctural estimate but cutting the trend, which on January 31 last year was 6.4%.
Household spending decreased by 0.5% compared to the third quarter of 2021.
In particular, purchases of durable goods decreased by 5.3% and those of services by 0.7%, while those of non-durable goods increased by 1% and those of semi-durable goods by 0.7%.
The growth of the GDP acquired for 2022, the one that would occur if in the four quarters of this year the growth were to be equal to zero, is equal to + 2.3%.
