(ANSA) - BEIJING, MARCH 04 - the Hong Kong stock exchange opens the session with a heavy correction, discounting the developments of the Russian attack in Ukraine, with the flames in Zaporizhzhia, the largest nuclear power plant in the country and in Europe: the Hang index Seng lost 2.62%, to 21,879.13 points.
The Shanghai Composite Index lost 1.01% in the early stages, at 3,445.92 points, while the Shenzhen one dropped 0.60%, at 2,775.27.
The futures on the Wall Street and European stock markets fell sharply: those on the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq lost more than 1.6%, while the Euro Stoxx 50 fell by 3.1%.
