Angelina Jolie has signed a three-year international agreement with Fremantle to produce a series of films, TV series and documentaries.
The Academy Award-winning actress, who is also a special envoy for the UN refugee agency, will either produce, direct or star, the deal wrote, which she broke deadline.
And the first project will be an adaptation of Alessandro Baricco's international bestseller Without Blood, which she will produce and direct in Italy.
Jolie said the "freedom to tell important stories and bring them to a global audience" is at the heart of her three-year contract.
