"I think we have to evaluate step by step"

.

This was stated by the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza, on the sidelines of an initiative in Florence.

"The confrontation between us will continue - he added - in the Government, and between the Government and Parliament, and we will evaluate the best way: as far as I'm concerned, the path is still a path of trust that looks to a new phase, but one of gradualness , because this is the method we have given ourselves, and so far it has led to results that I believe are visible to all ".

"The Government's commitment is to overcome the state of emergency"

, but "overcoming the state of emergency does not magically mean being out of all constraints because Covid continues to be a challenge to deal with".

This was stated by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, on the sidelines of an initiative on the NRP organized in Florence by the Tuscany Region.

"We are much stronger than in the past - continued the minister - because we carried out a beautiful vaccination campaign. Having over 91% of people who followed us in this vaccination campaign puts our country in very different conditions compared to the past and we are bending this Omicron curve thanks to vaccines, without generalized closures ".

Speranza also noted that the data "points to a steady decline in recent weeks:

we came from very high numbers, we were almost 2 thousand cases for every 100 thousand inhabitants.

The latest data, announced yesterday by the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, tell us about a figure of just over 400, so there has been a very significant decline but we must continue with this path ".
