Healthcare companies and hospitals, "probably by virtue of the humanitarian aid that are being put in place", are a "very sensitive target" of the cyber attacks for which an alert was issued this evening by CSIRT.
It can be read in a communication that the Dirmei sent this evening to the Piedmontese healthcare companies, inviting them to "raise the security levels to the maximum", paying "utmost attention to e-mail, antivirus, sites exposed to the outside world Unfortunately, these too are war actions ".
In the communication, the Dirmei, the inter-company department for infectious diseases and emergencies set up by the Piedmont Region to coordinate the various operating units of the health companies involved in the management of infectious diseases and related emergencies, invites the representatives of the health companies to "monitor the systems in real time safety".
"If your contacts require further information, the regional structure will try to support as much as possible", concludes the Dirmei who also attaches the CSIRT alert to the communication.
