Actress and comedian Amy Schumer opened up on a podcast about her struggles with trying to conceive for a second time using artificial insemination.

The attempt was very difficult for her and failed, the 40-year-old said in an interview with Chelsea Handler on their podcast "Dear Chelsea".

She suffered from the IVF process.

'It's so hard.

people do this so often.

I only did it once and thought I was going to die.«

Schumer openly reported the details of the attempt.

She was proud to receive 31 eggs and considered herself very fertile.

“But then came the crash.

We received only one normal embryo.

We tried but it didn't work.

And now I don't have a uterus," Schumer said.

Amy Schumer is already the mother of a two-and-a-half-year-old son.

"We're only going to have one kid and we're enjoying our little family now and that's all I'm focused on," Schumer said of their son Gene.

“I'm happy about it, but I was also sad.

And it's not really something to get sympathy for.

If you already have a child, you should shut up.

But it's a real struggle that people have to go through."
