The work of Markus Lüpertz at the Beaux-Arts, in the parks and streets of Orléans

The "Maker of Gods" exhibition by the contemporary German painter and sculptor invites the public, until September 4, to reflect on the notions of heroism, figuration and abstraction, thanks in particular to formidable series on Antiquity .


The contemporary painter and sculptor Markus Lüpertz, one of the main artists of German neo-expressionism, will exhibit his work from Saturday until September 4 at the Museum of Fine Arts, in the streets and parks of Orleans.

A total of 124 paintings and drawings are presented in the museum's galleries, while eleven monumental and colorful sculptures are scattered in places chosen by this well-mannered dandy, now 80 years old.

The “ Maker of Gods

” exhibition
