(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 05 - "It seems that Ukraine is always inventing reasons to update the terms" on the basis of which to negotiate with Russia.
This was underlined in a press conference by the Russian Foreign Minister Serghei Lavrov.
"The Russian delegation was ready as early as Friday evening for a new round of talks with Ukraine", said Lavrov, then remarking that "in the perspective of Russian-Ukrainian consultations, Zelensky's speeches do not inspire optimism".
Then the head of the Russian diplomacy insisted: "we await information from Ukraine on the date for the third round of negotiations".
