The idea had already germinated in the minds of the organizers of the Louis de Funès exhibition at the cinematheque... On March 25, the organizers of the Lyon hyperrealist exhibition
Ceci n'est pas un corps
will open their doors to visitors very free from their clothes since they will be able to wander around La Sucrière, a former industrial warehouse, completely naked.
According to the Belgian agency Tempora and the Maillol museum, at the origin of this initiative, art enthusiasts will thus be able to better understand the deep meaning of this exhibition dedicated to all the expressions of the human body.

The organizers strongly believe in this original concept of nudity, which recalls the myth of Adam and Eve.
On the

website , they insist that in a “
naturist
” atmosphere, essence precedes existence.
The visitor, finally rid of the tinsel that encumbers him, will be able to fully live his hyperrealistic experience and only ask himself these simple questions: “
Which bodies are real and which bodies are fake?
Will I be able to tell the naked visitors apart from the naked sculptures?...

Contrary to appearances, Caroline is not alive, it is a polyester resin sculpture by Frenchman Daniel Firman.
This artist always seeks to magnify ideas as abstract or sensitive as time, balance, weight, action and gravity.
On March 25, seeing his work, naked, will perhaps make it possible to better understand his original intentions...
