(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 08 MAR - Italy is ready to support a third package of European Union sanctions on Russia which should expand the list of banks and billionaires in the sights in an attempt to push Moscow to a ceasefire.
This was stated by Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio in an interview with Bloomberg TV, underlining that the EU is "ready to face" the economic impact of these measures on the economy.
The EU will not succumb to the "blackmail of Russia" on energy.
