(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 08 - The EU member states will be able to tax the extraordinary profits that the electricity producers have made thanks to the very high prices of these months.
This is the indication of the European Commission, contained in the RePower EU Communication, which defines the conditions under which the tax levy can be used to reduce the burden of electricity bills on consumers.
