'Letter beyond the sea'
deals with the theme of emigration in a human and noble but above all true way.
"It is the story of an Italian emigrant who underwent a terrible, very tiring journey to pursue the American dream ... Which after all was not such a dream", says Ranieri, also recalling his personal journey to the United States as a kid , on a boat immersed in the ocean, immense and frightening.
The song anticipates the release of a new album produced by Gino Vannelli and containing unreleased songs written by great Italian authors and songwriters.
The video clip of the song, directed by Marco D'Andragora, was edited by Marco De Antoniis, who signs the executive production.
