Indonesia returns to host the World Championship after 25 years.
The second race of the 2022 season (Sunday 20 March) will be hosted by the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
The event in the country is deeply felt and will be preceded by celebrations that will begin in the capital Jakarta, with a parade of 20 pilots - scheduled for Wednesday 16 - which will begin and end at the Merdeka Palace.
President Joko Widodo will welcome the runners to the Palace, including some local stars, to then join them.
Almost all the MotoGP riders will participate in the parade, among others.
Indonesian Minister of State Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir recently confirmed that race day tickets are already sold out - with a limited number of extras now available to meet the high demand - and the stage is set for a GP. Indonesia that promises to be spectacular.
