(ANSA) - NEW YORK, MARCH 08 - The price of gasoline has reached a new record in the US, against the backdrop of tensions due to the war in Ukraine.
Motorists now pay $ 4.17 per gallon (about four and a half liters).
The record of July 2008 was therefore broken when a gallon of gasoline cost an average of $ 4.11 per gallon.
The cost of diesel also touches the record, four 4.75 dollars against 4.84 in 2008.
