Ukrainian actor and comedian Pasha Lee was announced dead on Sunday March 6 by the Odessa Film Festival.
He died under fire from a mortar during the bombardments of the Russian army on the town of Irpin, located about twenty kilometers north of Kiev.
Eager to defend his country, the young 33-year-old actor had enlisted barely a week earlier alongside the territorial forces of the Ukrainian army.
He paid a high price for it.

In the latest post on his Instagram account, Pasha Lee, dressed in military clothes, posed with a young woman.
“In these 48 hours, we finally have the chance to sit down to talk about how we are being bombarded.
But we will laugh, because we will fight and everything will be fine, ”he wrote in the caption of this post, smiling.
A “joyful and solar” actor
Sunday, the Russian bombardments gradually won the suburbs of Kiev, including the city of Irpin, then cut off from water, electricity and heating for three days.
Eight people, including two children, were killed this weekend during the Russian attack which cost the life of the Ukrainian actor, according to the mayor of the commune, Oleksandr Markushin.

Pasha Lee was born on July 10, 1988 in Yevpatoria, a port city in Crimea.
He was known in Ukraine for his role in the comedy
