A "solidarity competition" between Italian companies in the fashion sector to support UNHCR for the Ukraine emergency.
The world of fashion, reports the UN Refugee Agency itself, "responds positively" to the appeal of the Cnmi President Carlo Capasa.
In fact, there are many fashion houses and stylists who, in synergy with the appeal of the National Chamber, promoter of this solidarity competition following the impulse received by the Otb Foundation, have decided to guarantee their support to people fleeing Ukraine. and to those who remain in the country with important donations, including: Armani, Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, Donatella Versace personally, Etro, Ferragamo, Furla, Prada Group, Golden Goose, Gucci, Max Mara, Missoni, Moncler and Stone Island, Trussardi, Valentino , Zegna.
"At this moment everyone's help is important and for this I would like to thank Cnmi, President Capasa and all the companies that have chosen to donate in these dramatic hours", commented Chiara Cardoletti, UNHCR representative for the Italy, the Holy See and San Marino.
"We estimate that 12 million people inside Ukraine - he added - will need relief and protection, while more than 4 million Ukrainian refugees may need protection and assistance in neighboring countries in the coming months.
Huge resources and for this reason we hope that in the next few hours other companies in the fashion sector, but not only, will give their contribution ".
