In Rimini, Sigep, the sweet hall, is back live

 - Next Saturday the Sigep of Ieg (Italian Exhibition Group) returns live.

At the fair in Rimini, from 12 to 16 March, the 43rd International Exhibition of ice cream, pastry, artisan bakery and coffee brings sweet foodservice and the world of horeca to the center of business.

As many as 950 exhibiting brands spread over 90 thousand square meters of surface area, for a sector that in Italy in 2021 is estimated to have generated a total turnover of 9.5 billion euros.

The opening ceremony is at 11, when Lorenzo Cagnoni, president of the Italian Exhibition Group, Jamil Sadegholvaad, mayor of Rimini, Stefano Bonaccini, president of Emilia-Romagna and Gian Marco Centinaio, undersecretary for Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies will speak.

At 2 pm, the talk on the theme 'Sustainability as an engine for the growth of outside the home' will be held.

At the fair the ice cream, pastry, choco, bakery, coffee sectors will be represented in all their forms, with a focus on product innovation united by the common thread of sustainability.

And again the 'Vision Plaza', with non-stop talks on supply chain trends, consumers, technologies, market strategies of the various countries of the world.

And then the four arenas dedicated to ice cream, pastry, bakery and coffee, in a continuous alternation of events, competitions and demonstrations with the great world masters of artisan confectionery.

The event will also welcome numerous delegations of buyers arriving from abroad.

In all, over 300 buyers, from more than 70 countries, with 3,500 meetings scheduled.

From 16 to 18 March, space for the digital upgrade, which will offer visitors from the most distant markets a three-day online meeting with the exhibitors of the event.
