This morning, the first semester exams for open education students started at Damascus University and will continue for about a month.
Dr. Raghda Naisa, Vice President of Damascus University for Open Education Affairs, said in a statement to SANA that about 26,000 students are taking the exams, distributed in media, translation, legal studies, accounting, project management, kindergarten, international studies and diplomacy.
Dr. Naisa indicated that coordination has been made with the various colleges concerned to provide examination halls and the required supplies and equipment, and to ensure that observers and students fully abide by the examination instructions issued by the university to ensure the proper conduct of the examination process.
It is noteworthy that the open education system was established in Syrian universities in accordance with Decree No. 383 of 2001 and aims to provide continuous education for students and workers who wish to raise their scientific and cultural level and to provide a unique opportunity for education for those who are not absorbed by regular education.
