The Homi Fashion & Jewels Exhibition,
the event dedicated to bijou, trendy jewelery and fashion accessories, open until 14 March,
is back at Fieramilano .
Historical realities of the sector, famous labels in the world of bijoux and accessories, Italian and foreign, established and emerging designers, are the protagonists of this exhibition that hosts
376 brands, 37% of which come from abroad
- in particular from Greece , Spain, Turkey, France, India - and among which Sharra Pagano, Aibijoux, Amle 'Jewels, Bikkemberg Jewels, Yvone Christa New York will be present.
To animate the exhibition, two pavilions divided into four dedicated areas: Style, which investigates the latest in research and design, Everyday with its diversified offer according to the seasonality of the proposals, Gems & Components, which turns the spotlight on precious materials and finally International Delivery, with a more cosmopolitan feel.
In collaboration with Polidesign, the event presents a special Observatory, which has identified
two future macro trends
, destined to guide consumers' choices for the next two years.
On the one hand, green light to the
influences of the 1920s
with their corollary of artistic and emotional values marked by lightness and imagination (with
the Beyond Reality trend
);
on the other hand, there is room for a more inclusive and intimate current, committed to the acceptance of the self made, also, thanks to jewels and accessories that can enhance one's staff (
trend Handle with Care
).
Numbers in hand,
the Italian export of the products of the Fashion & Bijoux supply chain showed a significant recovery in 2021
(+ 11.5% in the values in euros), albeit partial, after the penalties of 2020 (-14.7%), reaching around 3.5 billion of Euro.
In particular, the prevalent share of Italian exports of the supply chain is attributable to Fashion Accessories, with a 2021 value of over 2.3 billion euros, up by + 10.3% compared to 2020, even if with values lower by almost 9 percentage points to the pre-pandemic values.
The Italian exports of Bijoux Products, on the other hand, recorded a new historical maximum point last year
, equal to 1112 million euros (+ 14.2% compared to 2020).
For the three-year period 2022-2025 we expect an average annual growth of Italian exports of products from the Fashion & Bijoux chain of + 8.4% in values in euros.
Even on a more global level, in 2021 the world trade in products of the Fashion & Bijoux supply chain showed significant recovery dynamics (+ 11.7% in values in euro), after the significant contraction of the pandemic year 2020 (-13.5%).

As of 2021
, the value of world trade in the supply chain stood at around 40 billion euros

And in the 2022-2025 scenario - again for the world trade in products of the Fashion & Bijoux supply chain - an average annual growth of + 5% in values in euros is expected, reaching over 48 billion euros at the end of the forecast horizon. .

And returning to the March edition, from the design creations, the result of a particular research, to the “evergreen” bijoux, up to the must-haves of the summer season, there are many novelties present.
