Agenas, intensive stable at 5%, a year ago 33%

Department occupancy was 37%, almost triple the current 13% (ANSA) In the last 24 hours in Italy, the employment of intensive care by patients with Covid-19 is stable at 5%, while exactly one year ago it saw a daily growth trend reaching 33%. On the other hand, the occupancy of beds in non-critical area hospital wards is still at 13%, which a year ago these days, still continued to rise and was almost triple, reaching 37%. This is indicated by the monitoring data


In the last 24 hours in Italy, the employment of intensive care by patients with Covid-19 is stable at 5%, while exactly one year ago it saw a daily growth trend reaching 33%.

On the other hand, the occupancy of beds in non-critical area hospital wards is still at 13%, which a year ago these days, still continued to rise and was almost triple, reaching 37%.

This is indicated by the monitoring data of the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas), updated to 13 March 2022, compared with those of 13 March 2021.

In detail, compared to 12 March 2022, the occupation of beds in intensive care by patients with Covid-19 drops in Emilia Romagna (to 6%) while it is growing in Campania (5%), Pa Bolzano (2%) and Sardinia (9%).

Instead, it is stable in 17 regions or autonomous provinces: Abruzzo (7%), Basilicata (1%), Calabria (7%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (5%), Lazio (8%), Liguria (6%) , Lombardy (4%), Marche (5%), Molise (5%), Piedmont (4%), Pa Trento (2%), Puglia (6%), Sicily (8%), Tuscany (7%), Umbria (6%), Valle d'Aosta (3%) and Veneto (3%).


    The occupancy of beds in medical departments (called 'non-critical') by patients with Covid-19, on the other hand, drops in 4 regions or autonomous provinces: Marche (11%), Bolzano public administration (10%) , Sardinia (19%), Tuscany (12%);

while it is growing again in 3: Abruzzo (20%), Molise (13%) and Pa Trento (7%).


    The rate is stable in the remaining 14: Basilicata (24%), Calabria (28%), Campania (13%), Emilia Romagna (12%), Friuli Venezia Giulia (11%), Lazio (16%), Liguria (15%), Lombardy (7%), Piedmont (9%), Puglia (19%), Sicily (22%), Umbria (23%), Valle d'Aosta (13%) and Veneto (7%).
