“The year 2021 confirms the good recovery of the French advertising market, with the return of advertisers. All the media are posting positive results and the synergies with digital are increasing,”
explains Xavier Guillon, Managing Director of France Pub.
In 2021, the media's net advertising revenues amounted to 15.9 billion euros, up 18.3% over one year and 2.2% compared to 2019, reveals the Unified Advertising Market Barometer ( Bump) released on Tuesday.
This figure should be compared to the digital advertising market, which grew by 24% to 7.7 billion.

As for traditional media, television, the press, radio, cinema and outdoor advertising show an increase of 16.4% over one year, to 7.2 billion euros, according to the study presented by the Irep, France Pub and Kantar Media.
They remain below pre-crisis levels (-5.3%).
With 3.5 billion in advertising revenue, only television manages to exceed its pre-crisis levels...
