The convicted murderer of Londoner Sarah Everard has been charged again - this time for allegedly having exposed himself several times.
These acts are said to have occurred just a few weeks before the murder.
The public prosecutor's office accuses the former police officer of "specifically exposing his genitals four times in January and February 2021 with the aim of someone else seeing this and being distressed".
The man is due to appear in court in mid-April.
He was sentenced to life imprisonment last year.
The court found it proven that he had arrested, kidnapped, raped and murdered 33-year-old Sarah Everard in London in March 2021 under false allegations.
The case sparked a crisis of confidence in the British police and a wave of outrage at violence against women in the country.
Among other things, indignation was caused by the fact that the police had tolerated the man in their own ranks for years, although he was said to have repeatedly attracted attention for exhibitionism and inappropriate behavior towards women.
