Price shock at Aldi: That's what the group says
The group is now passing on the increased prices charged by manufacturers to its customers.
"Where the costs in purchasing change due to the current market situation, we also have to increase the sales prices," said a company spokesman to the dpa.
Aldi shocks customers with significantly increased prices - around 400 products from the discounter are more expensive.

Overall, the prices of around 400 Aldi products were increased, according to Lebensmittel-Zeitung on Thursday (03/17/2022).
According to the dpa, there hasn't been a price increase of this kind in German supermarkets for years.
