(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 20 - The 'Cristoforo Colombo' airport in Genoa reopened this morning And today the first flight to land on the new runway just before 8 am was a Ryanair Boeing 737-800 from Bucharest , aboard which were 30 Ukrainian women and children.
Border police and air health office coordinated document and health checks to make their entry into Italian territory easier.
Airport organized a small welcome breakfast for refugees (ANSA).
