Adapted from a true story, Candy (available from May 9 on the platform) dives into an American Texan suburb of the 1990s. This one looks back on the incredibly violent murder of Betty Gore (Melanie Lynskey) by Candy Montgomery, played by Jessica Biel.
Indeed, the latter killed her neighbor with an ax on June 13, 1980. “Before June 13, did you love Betty Gore?” asks a lawyer in the first images of this trailer.
And the murderess to add: "She was my friend."
