Cécile Debray, 55 ans, a été nommée en novembre 2021 à la présidence du Musée national Picasso Paris. Directrice du Musée de l’Orangerie de mai 2017 à novembre 2021, cette savante y a imprimé son sens aigu de l’histoire de l’art pour tous avec des expositions pointues, claires et pédagogiques. Auparavant au Centre Pompidou, elle y a montré autrement Matisse. Paires et séries en 2013 ou Marcel Duchamp. La peinture même en 2014. Rencontre avec une femme à la tête du musée du Minotaure.

- I must pay tribute to the work carried out by Laurent Le Bon since his arrival at the Picasso Museum in 2014, in a moment of crisis, in succession to Anne Baldassari.
