The organization of interns' doctors' prescription 'and dozens of interns from hospitals in the periphery today (Monday) submitted to the labor courts in Nazareth, Haifa and Beer Sheva an urgent request to order the cancellation of the unilateral and illegal letter issued last week by the deputy superintendent. .
As you may recall, last week the letter was sent on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner of Wages to the Treasury, to the employers of the interns.
In the letter, an explicit and illegal instruction to reduce thousands of shekels in the salaries of interns, on which the outline for shortening shifts is expected to apply as early as April 1st.

It also reads: "The Medical Association, for its part, which purports to represent the interns, abandons the interns and disclaims any sign of a workers 'organization regarding them. Not only does the Medical Association do not care about the interns' rights and interests, it deliberately acts to harm physicians. The interns and torpedo the move to shorten the shifts is a reality. "
As part of the application, the following remedies were requested:
A temporary order stating that the directive of the Deputy Commissioner of Wages in the Treasury dated March 17, 2002 - is null and void.
A temporary order stipulating that until a judgment is rendered in the main claim in this case, no wage outline will be applied that would affect the salary conditions of the interns who apply in this procedure as interns in the initial arrangement to shorten the shifts.
A temporary order stating that until a judgment is rendered in the main claim in this case, no salary outline will be applied that could harm the salaries of the interns on whom the outline for shortening the shifts from 6.10.2021 will be applied.
Temporary order instructing the parties to convene to discuss the subject of the application and to receive agreements regarding the salaries of interns, when the collective agreement of March 22, 20 will apply until the date of reaching the agreements.
Temporary order directing the immediate formulation of a temporary wage outline that complies with the provisions of the general permit for employment during the weekly rest and overtime in medical establishments dated 6.10.2021, which entered into force on 1.4.2022 regarding the shortening of shift hours.
