On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the FIGC launches a new campaign which, for the first time, sees the whole world of Italian football united in a common front against discrimination.
The goal is to spread a strong and unique message through the web and social platforms of the Federation and of the main football stakeholders: Leagues (Lega Serie A and B, Lega Pro and Lnd, Assocalciatori and Assoallenatori, Aia, Youth and school sector, Sector Technical, Women's Football Division, Paralympic and Experimental Football The project sees the National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Prime Minister's Office as an institutional partner and was created with the contribution of Uefa HatTrick FSR.
The campaign will be launched on the occasion of the Italy-North Macedonia match.
"Italian football says no to discrimination - says the president of the FIGC, Gabriele Gravina - and does so with a single voice, using its communicative strength and the impact of a very clear visual image: we are equal in our diversity. ! ".
"Lega Pro and all its clubs are involved in the campaign to reaffirm the values of tolerance, mutual respect and welcoming others", says the president of Serie C, Francesco Ghirelli.
Lilian Thuram, former defender of Parma and Juve, also spoke on the topic of racism at Linea Diletta, on Dazn.

When I was playing in Italy, and some fans were imitating the monkey, I realized that treating blacks badly is a cultural thing, treating badly women is a cultural thing, treating homosexuals badly is a cultural thing: it is a habit that takes root in the mind.
