On March 4, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, of Ukrainian nationality, published a video on Instagram, urging their fans to help those who remained on Ukrainian territory.
Less than a month later, the couple can boast of having achieved their goal, since their kitty, launched on GofundMe, raised 34,887,800 dollars (31,540,664 euros), from donations from 65,000 people.
An initiative that did not escape the Ukrainian president.

Indeed, faced with the energy spent and the amount collected, Volodymyr Zelensky wanted to thank the two movie stars in person, through a videoconference call.
If this exchange remained private, the head of state gave an overview of their conversation by posting, on March 20, a screenshot on his Twitter account.
In legend, the latter indicates: “Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis were among the first to respond to our pain.
They have already collected 35 million dollars and will send them (...) to help Ukrainian refugees.
We are grateful for their support and impressed by their determination.
They are an inspiration to the world.”
And to conclude his message with the hashtag #StandWithUkraine.

The two actors have pledged to donate the funds raised (including $ 3 million from their own pockets), to Flexport and Airbnb, two organizations that provide aid to those who need it most on site.
“The main challenge right now is logistics.
We need to find housing and get supplies and resources to the area,” Ashton Kutcher explained in their first video.
