Assaf Granit on the red carpet at the Michelin Stars Ceremony (PR)

In January last year, chef Assaf Granit, along with the Mahniuda group, won the first Michelin star of his career, for their restaurant "Broken" in Paris.

Granite and his partners, waited quite a while to get the coveted star, and last year it finally happened.

Although an official ceremony did not take place then, due to the corona plague, so here comes the amendment.

At tonight's prestigious Michelin starring ceremony in the French town of Cognac, the Parisian restaurant Michelin star won again, this time in the new 2022 guide, which means keeping its star (no matter which rule), and this time in a proper, granite-like ceremony. Also to his partner Uri Navon, and the acting chef of Broken - Dan Joshua, get on a suit and get the respect they deserve.

The new Michelin guide is written about Granit's restaurant: "Behind Broken, we find Assaf Granit, an Israeli chef who also holds the helm of a messy restaurant in Paris, and owns a dozen restaurants in Jerusalem and London, and hosts the local version of" Kitchen Revolution. " "He opened in a 17th-century building in a lively district, between rue Saint-Denis and rue Montorgueil.

" We find here his trademarks: unstoppable atmosphere, raw enamel decorations in unique techniques, metallic pipes on the ceiling, and dimmed lights.

And above all a creative cuisine with Mediterranean influences, generous and surprising, when the motif of freshness comes into the picture.

"These carrots, soft-boiled egg, salmon eggs and tzimas, cheek and oxtail, the polenta dish with the mushrooms and even the chocolate mousse with olive oil and Maldon salt."

The restaurant by the way, also appears in the guide under the category of "7 exotic restaurants for trips".

Assaf Granit told us in response:

"We are very happy and excited to take part in this huge class and keep our star in the culinary capital."
