Assistant Minister of Education Dr. Abdul Hakim Al-Hammad discussed with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Damascus Kim Hee Ryong a mechanism for strengthening educational relations and exchanging expertise and experiences in a way that contributes to the consolidation of relations between the two countries.
Dr. Al-Hammad stressed during the meeting, which was held today at the Ministry’s building in Damascus, the Ministry’s endeavor to develop the educational process and its desire to benefit from the Korean expertise and its advanced educational system in the areas of rehabilitation and training of teaching staff, schools of outstanding students, organizing festivals and school activities, as well as a mechanism for dealing with people with disabilities, indicating that the Institute Teaching Arabic to non-native speakers is dedicated to teaching Arabic to Korean and foreign diplomats and communities.
In turn, Kim Hee Ryong explained that his country has experiences in the field of modernizing schools, institutes, universities and distance education schools, expressing its readiness to provide consultations and expertise to contribute to the restoration of schools in a way that enhances bilateral relations between the two countries.
