Jet2 passengers on a flight from Manchester, England to Antalya, Turkey, cheered after a violent passenger was taken off the flight - which was diverted and landed at Vienna airport.
The wayward passenger became verbally and physically violent halfway through the planned 4.5-hour flight last Monday.
According to the Daily Mail, the passenger was aggressive towards the crew because of babies crying on the flight and even slapped other passengers, according to one of the passengers.
Due to the incident, it was necessary to divert the flight to the Austrian capital so that the passenger could be taken off the plane.
The flight continued to Antalya two hours later than planned.
Another passenger on the flight told the Manchester Evening News that the recalcitrant passenger began to riot for about an hour and 20 minutes into the flight.
"There was a lot of noise," said the passenger who asked not to be identified, "and then she got to the front of the plane and was really angry at the flight attendants and did not calm down. "To the plane. Some claimed it was because of babies crying on the flight. Another passenger said something and she slapped him in the face. Then someone got up to try and calm the situation before they took her to the back of the plane."

The passenger added that the crew had made the decision to divert the flight to Vienna.
Upon landing the plane, it was said that the woman slapped another passenger when she got off.
"The Jet2 team handled the whole situation well. No one could help the woman who got out of control as soon as she slapped the passenger."
Jet2 sent a text message to passengers about the flight just before 12:00, and apologized for the incident.
The statement said: "Hello, we are sorry that due to the disruptive behavior of one of the passengers, your flight was diverted to Vienna. We are working on the issue to advance you to your destination as soon as possible."
The flight left Vienna at 13:00 and arrived in Antalya shortly after 15:00 - an hour and 15 minutes later than planned.
Officials at Manchester Airport declined to comment on the situation, saying it was a matter for the airline.
In a statement from the airline, Jet2 confirmed the incident.
A Jet2 spokesman told MEN: "We can confirm that flight LS895 from Manchester to Antalya was diverted to Vienna earlier today so that a disruptive passenger could be dropped off. As a family-friendly airline, we take a zero-tolerance approach to flight-disrupting behavior."
