This Friday, only buses and trams will see their traffic severely disrupted, provides the RATP in a press release.
One out of two or three trams should run during peak hours.
The detail according to the lines will be communicated on Thursday, the day before the movement except for the T8 line which we already know will be completely closed.
Regarding buses, 30% of lines will be interrupted.
For the open lines, it will be necessary to expect one out of two buses on average with variations according to the sectors.
Again, more information will be communicated on Thursday.
Normal or almost normal traffic in the metro and RER
Unlike February 18, the metros will run almost normally: traffic will be normal on lines 1, 3, 3bis, 4, 5, 6, 7bis, 10, 11, 12, 14 while
"slight disturbances"
will impact lines 2 , 7, 8, 9 and 13, indicates the RATP.
Finally, traffic will be normal on the RER A, the interconnection being maintained at Nanterre-Préfecture and on the RER B where, likewise, the interconnection is maintained at Gare du Nord.
Salary increase
The trade unions of RATP agents are demanding a 3% increase in wages to "
cope with inflation and defend purchasing power in Île-de-France
" and dispute the 2.7% proposed by the RATP.
According to them, this is only a real increase of 0.4%.
They are also asking for the opening up to competition for bus networks, which is pushing organizations to mobilize to assert their disagreement.
