According to figures compiled by CBO-Box Office, some 3.4 million moviegoers went to the cinema between March 16 and 22, well above the 2.5 million the previous week.

Notre-Dame Brûle
, a grand spectacle film and an ode to the soldiers of fire by Jean-Jacques Annaud, brings together only 388,293 spectators, three years after the tragedy which partly destroyed the cathedral.

, which attracted 347,583 fans of the genre.
