There are some indications that you may not really be particularly popular with your colleagues.
At work* not everyone has to be great friends.
However, it is pleasant and helpful when colleagues in the team get along well - which not least promotes performance.
But interpersonal communication in the office doesn't always work out.

name six indications that you can see that you are "not particularly popular" with your colleagues and that "there is an urgent need for action" on your part.

1. Colleagues avoid you:
If you often find yourself alone, others seem to avoid you.
Just why?
2. You almost never get congratulated.
Whether it's a birthday, the birth of a child, a company anniversary or a wedding: As the experts say, congratulating in such cases is the "topmost duty of a colleague" and is only polite.
But what if your colleagues hold back?
Perhaps they just have a lot on their plate, the experts concede, or maybe they just didn't realize it.
"Or the others can't stand you and aren't happy with you."
3. You will not be involved in private communication
: Skype is a great place to gossip internally, or in the WhatsApp group.
"The fact that your colleague set up the group but obviously didn't invite you is something you only find out second-hand. He certainly didn't forget you by accident..." the career advisors point out.
4. You receive almost exclusively e-mails
: "The colleagues will write to you when the meeting is taking place and why. What is the status of the current large-scale project. What are the tasks ahead of you and which business trip is waiting for you next," says Karrierbibel.de relevant examples.
"Clearly," she advises, "e-mails are part of professional communication, but it can also be noticeable that every face-to-face encounter is avoided."
A face-to-face conversation is often the better and faster alternative.

5. You are constantly being criticized:
Whether it's with suggestions, in meetings or otherwise: everything you do or don't do triggers criticism?
If your colleagues simply don't miss an opportunity "to choke on you - sometimes subtly, sometimes openly," that's another indication, the experts advise.
6. You don't get any information
: "What the boss said in the meeting yesterday. Who the HR department is currently looking for. What the IT guys are working on. Why the new one has become impossible after just three days: Colleagues know all this and share it information but not with you", according to the career bible, this is another indication.
"Even when asked, the answers are monosyllabic - perhaps because they don't want you to know."
Conclusion:
If
your colleagues
don't like you, you shouldn't just ignore it.
Communication is important.
"It's easy to gossip about annoying colleagues, to criticize unpleasant qualities in others and to complain that others are making your own life more difficult," says Karrierbibel.de.
"It's more difficult, on the other hand, to take a good look at your own nose and realize that you're not that perfect yourself."
