“The concern about high energy prices is very justified.
With the outbreak of war in the Ukraine, the wholesale prices for electricity, which had already risen sharply beforehand, rose again significantly.
The price for a megawatt hour for delivery in the coming year is currently around 160 euros – the long-term average is between 35 and 55 euros.
In the coming months, this will also be felt by private households in the form of further increases in electricity prices.”
