A 26-year-old man is said to have killed his parents and sister and buried the bodies in a field near Rostock.
An arrest warrant has already been issued against the man on suspicion of triple murder, the public prosecutor said.
According to the investigators, the man killed his relatives “because of family problems”.

The victims are said to be the man's 52-year-old father, 48-year-old mother and 25-year-old sister.
The buried bodies were dug up and recovered on Wednesday southeast of Rostock, near Kösterbeck.
According to the investigators, another family member had submitted a missing persons report in mid-February.
That triggered the investigation.
