After months of appeals and controversies, the Serie A League has formalized the recovery dates of the five league games that had not been played between December and last January due to the high number of Covid cases in the teams, which had been blocked by the respective ASL competence.

The match between Udinese and Salernitana will start next Wednesday 20 April, while on Wednesday 27 April Fiorentina-Udinese, Salernitana-Venice and Bologna-Inter will be played, all with schedules to be defined in the coming weeks.

Finally, the Atalanta-Turin calendar is scheduled for 11 May, but the eventual passage of the Bergamo's turn to the Europa League could further postpone the challenge.

Not only cups, however, because the unknown appeals also remain on the calendar: in fact, on three of these matches (Udinese-Salernitana, Bologna-Inter and Atalanta-Turin) the Coni Sports Guarantee Board has yet to express itself, with hearings set for mid-April.

If it were to accept the appeals of Udinese, Inter and Turin, who asked for a 3-0 at table in their respective matches, Lega Serie A will therefore cancel the scheduled matches.

Everything still in the balance, therefore, even if the League wanted to put a point on the situation, with the new president Lorenzo Casini who explained how "in the future it will be good not to wait months to establish the dates of the races not played" and for this reason he added to have written to the presidents of Coni and Figc Giovanni Malagò and Gabriele Gravina to "find together a solution that can significantly reduce the timing of any disputes in the event of postponed matches, even with special procedures similar to what already happens with TAS during games Olympic ".

"I thank all the members of the Lega Council for the work they have done, which now allows fans and clubs to have a clear picture of sporting commitments until the end of the championship", concluded Casini.
