So far, stricter corona rules have applied in hairdressing salons than in other shops.
But that will soon be over.
Washing, cutting, blow-drying, and all of this very close to the customer - this is part of the core business of every hairdressing salon.
Because hairdressers cannot comply with the required distance rules in their work, particularly strict corona rules always applied to hairdressers during the pandemic - up to 2G plus*.
But that will soon come to an end.
Stricter corona rules often apply to hairdressers because they work close to the customer.

Corona rules at the hairdresser: Restrictions will be lifted from April 3rd
Because the
old Infection Protection Act expires in Germany on April 2nd,
all far-reaching corona measures will largely no longer apply to people in Germany after this date - including for hairdressing customers.
For example, from April 3rd, vaccination, test and recovery certificates will no longer be required in public life.
Only a so-called
basic protection
should be maintained nationwide.
This includes, for example, wearing (FFP2) masks in local public transport (ÖPNV) as well as in hospitals and nursing homes.
Stricter restrictions are now only planned for hotspots, and the individual countries decide on their implementation.
What do the new Corona rules mean for hairdressing customers?
For
hairdressing customers
, this means for appointments
from April 3, 2022
:
Masks
are not compulsory
.
Wearing a simple mouth and nose protector is recommended on a voluntary basis.
No more 2G or 3G proof
required.
High infection numbers have postponed the start of the opening phase
The third opening phase, which the federal and state governments had decided, should actually
start on March 20th.
But because the number of infections is still rising and the hospitalization rates are high, many state governments have initiated a transitional phase, which
April 2 ends.
From March 20th, the home office obligation also ended.
Since then, employers have again been free to decide whether to allow home office or to return to the mandatory office presence.
The obligation to provide proof of vaccinations and tests at the workplace has also become obsolete since then.
