in Moscow, discovered in her London mailbox a letter from the Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.

The billionaire owner of Chelsea sued the journalist for defamation, after the publication of his book

Putin's People

His investigation, which sheds light on the personalities who revolve around Vladimir Putin's circles of power, claimed that he had bought the football club in 2003 on the orders of the Russian president.

Defended by Nigel Tait, a partner in the British firm Carter-Ruck, the oligarch demanded several million pounds in damages.
