(ANSA) - ROME, APRIL 01 - The evacuation of about 2,000 civilians from the besieged city of Mariupol is underway.
The Guardian reports this, quoting the city council.
Many auto-privateers joined the 42 buses escorted by Red Cross and Ukrainian Emergency Service vehicles from nearby Berdyanske headed for Zaporizhzhia, Mariupol city council said on Telegram, posting a video of the convoy.
